International Benefits Network - How we work

IBN is a network of independent actuaries, brokers and employee benefit consultants in over 30 countries around the world which provides member firms and their clients with access to international employee benefits advice.  This is particularly appropriate for multi-national companies.  Member firms work together largely on the basis of personal contacts, without any set financial commitment apart from the annual membership subscription.  The Managing Partners set the strategy for the network and meet the balance of cost. The day to day operation of the network is handled by a Management Committee and Secretariat.

Remuneration

Normally, clients of member firms pay no added-value premium to derive help from the IBN.  All work is clearly billed and no members add local costs, unless this is agreed in advance. The structures and overheads of the member firms allow for the competitive pricing of work.
