THE COMPANY
The Company was founded in 1974, the year of the revolution in Portugal, and is a Portuguese-owned company entirely independent from financial groups or other institutions. The founder Abílio Almeida-Santos, started his Professional career in 1958, when he joined Phoenix Assurance office in Lisbon, and was later the representative of the American insurance broker Johnson & Higgins, Ltd. In 34 years of activity the Company has developed a business practice based on a dedicated service to clients, with high client retention rates, and a very efficient international accounts management.
SERVICES
The company provides employee benefit consulting services, including claims administration and multinational pooling. It also offers personal lines and commercial insurance (property/casualty). It provides services to clients in a wide range of sectors: boat construction, ceramics, education; electrical components; electric equipment, gas cylinders; glass; home appliances; urban transportation; international haulage; IT; logistics; office appliances; petrol stations; plastic packaging; retail; shoes; sports associations; textiles; tomato concentrate; travel services.
