Avalon Actuarial is an independent actuarial consulting firm with offices in Montreal and Toronto. The firm is owned 100% by its senior employees.

The consulting practice is fundamentally knowledge based. At the present time, the total professional head count is 40, including 8 Fellow members of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and several other highly trained actuarial graduates.

Avalon Actuarial's high recruiting standards have resulted in the development of an outstanding benefit practice; our clients include several of the most reputable corporations and public organisations in Canada.   The firm's substantial growth in its client list is a direct result of a commitment to stay ahead of the competition in the development of innovative, cost effective solutions to emerging needs.

SERVICES

Avalon Actuarial provides services to employers and financial institutions on a local and national basis.  Most of our clients are corporations, either Canadian or Canadian subsidiaries of international organizations.  We also service a number of government agencies and non-profit organisations.

Compensation consulting services and individual financial services are also offered to clients through strategic alliances with local providers.
