International employee benefits - services from International Benefits Network

International Benefits Network - Applying for membership

Membership of IBN is by invitation of the Managing Partners. The level of membership offered (Partnership or Associate) depends on a number of factors, such as:

  • Geographic location
  • The size of the country or region
  • The size of the firm
  • Current economic conditions
  • Potential business flow
  • Potential involvement with IBN

Prospective members are asked to complete a questionnaire and make a presentation, either at the annual general meeting (usually in May or June each year) or at one of the Managing Partners' meetings during the year. Prospective Associates are not required to attend meetings, and can make a written presentation if they are sponsored by an existing IBN member.

Members are not obliged to refer work to each other and can work with other consultants if for example the client has an existing arrangement in place. There is no guarantee of client referrals from other members, but this remains one of the main objectives of the network. IBN organises an annual general meeting so that members can keep in touch with each other. We also hold regional marketing meetings, specifically targeted at client development.

Please contact the Secretariat for more information and an application form.
